HOPE JONES

Owner and Chef

Hope’s love and passion for food and cooking started at a young age. She took every opportunity growing up to be in the kitchen with her mother and two Grandmother's. She left her hometown in southern Colorado right after high school to pursue her dream of being a chef. Hope began to fulfill her dream by earning a Bachelors Degree in Culinary Management from the Art Institute in Denver. Shortly after she moved to Gunnison, she became a personal chef and worked in a raw food kitchen. Starting a food truck has always been a dream of Hope’s, so what better thing to do than open the first gourmet food truck in the Gunnison Valley! Hope started working on Delish in the fall of 2013 and plans to bring her dream to life with her sister-in-law Emily in the summer of 2014.

EMILY JONES

Delish Food Truck's right hand woman

Emily has always loved baking. This could be because of her undeniable sweet tooth or that she was raised on the belief of “chocolate heals”- Which she still firmly believes. She grew up spending weekends in the kitchen baking with her grandmother and learning to perfect a chocolate chip cookie with her mother. Since those days she has grown to love sharing her cooking with family and friends. She moved to Colorado from Illinois in 2006 to attend Western State. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration she went on to attend Mountain Heart School of Bodywork in Crested Butte and became a certified massage therapist. Through all her different paths in life she has always felt grounded with cooking and especially baking. Her husband has been her loyal taste tester enduring the bad attempts at creative dishes and enjoying the successful ones. She is very excited to begin this next adventure with Hope and share their love of food with the community.
